About This Caster - PRE20605ZN-TPRB
Use this 2-inch Regent swivel when a small threaded-leg cart needs a quiet rubber wheel that also locks where it parks.
The 1-1/2-inch stem threads into a 3/8-16 insert and snugs with a nut, and a side brake adds a lever beside the wheel that presses a shoe on the tread to stop it rolling, so a small cart left on a sloped or busy floor will not creep. The wheel is a soft grey thermoplastic rubber on a polyolefin core, a 1-inch tread that rolls near-silent and non-marking from -40 to 180°F. The brake holds the wheel only, leaving the swivel head free to point.
Ideal applications
- Small threaded-leg carts that must park without creeping
- Sloped or busy floors where a 2-inch cart needs a wheel lock
- Quiet AV and instrument carts held still without a floor chock
If the threaded corner only rolls, the plain PRE20605ZN-TPR skips the brake and the extra width.
