About This Caster - PRE50748ZN-TPR
Thread this 5-inch Regent swivel into a tapped institutional frame or leg that rolls quiet on a finished floor.
The 1/2-13 threaded stem an inch and a half long screws into a tapped leg or locks with a nut, the mount for an institutional frame built to take a bolt-in caster rather than a plate. The wheel is Shepherd's soft grey TPR rubber on a polyolefin core, quiet and non-marking, and at 5 inches it clears thresholds while the swivel turns into a tight spot. It rides on a plain bearing from -40 to 180°F.
Ideal applications
- Tapped institutional legs taking a 1/2-13 bolt-in caster
- Quiet non-marking grey TPR on a threaded-stem frame
- Plain-bearing swivel where a plate or socket won't fit
To hold the cart in place once parked, the tread-lock PRE50748ZN-TPRB adds a brake to the same stem.
