About This Wheel - 41UE42-24

Choose this 4-inch solid polyurethane wheel where a bonded tread keeps tearing off the core, because this wheel is poly all the way through with no bond line for shock or chemicals to attack.

A tread-on-core wheel fails at the bond: hard impacts and aggressive chemicals work the polyurethane loose from its hub until the tread peels or spins. The solid Grey polyurethane wheel has no such seam, so the whole wheel carries the load and there is nothing to debond. It stays tough and non-marking in the cold down to -50°F, lower than the cored wheels in the line, which suits freezers and outdoor winter service. The roller bearing carries slow, heavy travel. It runs heavier than a cored wheel of the same size.

• Cart where bonded-tread wheels have been peeling under shock, concrete
• Freezer or cold-storage rig operating near -50°F
• Chemical-exposed transport that debonds a cored wheel
