About This Caster - 141AX06228S

Set this 6-inch spring-load polyurethane swivel on a steering corner of a ground-support or line cart that has to maneuver loads over rough ground.

The spring suspension built into the caster compresses under load to soak up the shock and vibration of seams and rough tarmac while the cart steers, which protects sensitive cargo on aviation ground support and automotive carts. The maroon polyurethane tread is non-marking and tough on a lightweight aluminum hub, and the kingpinless swivel section takes shock without a kingpin to loosen. The yellow dichromate finish resists corrosion. It steers on a precision ball bearing, bolts on a 4 by 4-1/2-inch top plate at an 8-inch mount height, and holds from -40 to 180°F.
