Specify this 8-inch 16 Series swivel for the biggest hot-service cart that must hold at a kiln or unload station, the cast iron caster whose tall wheel steers through heat to 800°F and whose face brake clamps the heaviest load still.
Rubber gives by 180°F and phenolic chars past 250°F; the 16 Series cast iron wheel carries the highest load and steers through radiant heat to 800°F, and the face brake presses a shoe against the wheel face to hold the cart at a kiln or unload station. The roller bearing carries the load at a walk, the 8-inch diameter rolls over scale and broken concrete, and the 4 by 4-1/2 top plate bolts to a flat deck. USA-made for fast shipping.
