Specify this 5-inch 16 Series swivel for a warm-area cart that parks at a process station, the rubber-on-aluminum caster whose metal core stays true through heat and whose face brake holds the taller wheel without scuffing.
A polypropylene-core rubber wheel softens near a warm process and flat-spots against a brake; the 16 Series MG wheel molds the rubber to a solid aluminum core that stays true to 220°F, and the face brake presses a shoe to the wheel face to hold at a station. The roller bearing carries the load at a walk, the 5-inch diameter clears a thicker seam, and the 4 by 4-1/2 top plate bolts to a flat deck. USA-made for fast shipping.
