About This Caster - 16MG05201R
Set this 5-inch 16 Series rigid on the back corners of a warm-area cart that clears a thicker seam, the rubber-on-aluminum caster whose metal core holds the taller wheel true where a plastic core softens near heat.
A polypropylene-core rubber wheel deforms near a warm process and the wheel runs out of round; the 16 Series MG wheel molds the rubber to a solid aluminum core that stays true to 220°F while the tread stays quiet and non-marking, and the 5-inch diameter clears a thicker seam than a 4-inch. The roller bearing carries the load at a walk, the rigid fork holds the line, and the 4 by 4-1/2 top plate bolts to a flat deck. USA-made for fast shipping.
