Set this 6-inch 16 Series rigid on the back corners of a heavier warm-area cart that crosses thresholds, the rubber-on-aluminum caster whose metal core holds the tall wheel true while the rubber tread bridges the seam quiet.
A polypropylene-core rubber wheel deforms under a heavy warm load and rumbles a hard wheel scuffs the floor; the 16 Series MG wheel molds the rubber to a solid aluminum core that stays true to 220°F, the tread stays quiet and non-marking, and the 6-inch diameter bridges a thicker threshold. The roller bearing carries the load at a walk, the rigid fork holds the line, and the 4 by 4-1/2 top plate bolts to a flat deck. USA-made for fast shipping.
