Choose this 8-inch 16 Series swivel for the front of the biggest quiet warm-area cart, the rubber-on-aluminum caster whose metal core steers the tallest wheel true over a long run where a plastic core would soften under heat.
A polypropylene-core rubber wheel deforms under a heavy warm load on a long run and the swivel wanders; the 16 Series MG wheel molds the rubber to a solid aluminum core that steers true to 220°F while the tread stays quiet and non-marking, and the 8-inch diameter rolls over expansion joints and dock plates. The roller bearing carries the load at a walk, and the 4 by 4-1/2 top plate bolts to a flat deck. USA-made for fast shipping.
