About This Caster - 16MG08201SFBA
Specify this 8-inch 16 Series swivel for the biggest quiet warm-area cart that has to hold at a stop, the rubber-on-aluminum caster whose metal core keeps the tallest wheel true and whose face brake locks it without scuffing.
A polypropylene-core rubber wheel softens under a heavy warm load and flat-spots against a brake; the 16 Series MG wheel molds the rubber to a solid aluminum core that stays true to 220°F, the 8-inch diameter rolls over dock plates and joints, and the face brake presses a shoe to the wheel face to hold at a station. The roller bearing carries the load at a walk, and the 4 by 4-1/2 top plate bolts to a flat deck. USA-made for fast shipping.
