About This Caster - 16PD04201S
Choose this 4-inch 16 Series swivel for the front of a heavy non-marking cart, the polyurethane-on-aluminum caster whose die-cast core steers true where a plastic-core poly wheel flexes and the swivel loads unevenly.
A polypropylene-core polyurethane wheel flexes at the center under a heavy load and the tread cups; the 16 Series PD wheel molds the green polyurethane to a die-cast aluminum core that does not deflect, so it carries the highest poly load and stays non-marking. The roller bearing carries the load at a walk, and the 4 by 4-1/2 top plate bolts to a flat deck. USA-made for fast shipping.
