Specify this 6-inch 16 Series swivel for the heaviest non-marking cart that crosses thresholds and parks at a stop, the polyurethane-on-aluminum caster whose die-cast core carries the load without flexing and whose face brake holds it without scuffing.
A polypropylene-core polyurethane wheel flexes under a heavy parked load and cups against a brake; the 16 Series PD wheel molds the green polyurethane to a die-cast aluminum core that does not deflect, so it carries the highest poly load non-marking, the 6-inch diameter bridges a thicker threshold, and the face brake presses a shoe to the wheel face to hold at a station. The roller bearing carries the load at a walk, and the 4 by 4-1/2 top plate bolts to a flat deck. USA-made for fast shipping.

Skip the polyurethane wheel if the floor runs near heat over 180°F or you want a softer cushioned ride; a phenolic 16 Series wheel takes the heat to 250°F and a rubber-on-aluminum cushion wheel softens the ride.
