About This Caster - 170SE05201S
Step up to this 5-inch Empire 170 swivel with a roller bearing when a heavy cart needs to steer over uneven floors on a cushioned, floor-friendly wheel.
The 5-inch wheel rolls over seams and debris with less effort than a smaller one while turning under load. The wheel is solid elastomer, a tough rubber-like compound that soaks up shock and runs quietly without going flat, grey and non-marking on finished floors. The roller bearing handles heavier sustained pushing and towing where a ball bearing wears faster under shock, and the caster carries up to 1,000 pounds and takes -40 to 230°F. The swivel turns on a kingpinless welded raceway with no central pin to loosen, bolts on a 4 by 4-1/2-inch top plate at a 6-1/2-inch mount height, and is zinc plated.

- 5-inch grey solid elastomer roller-bearing swivel up to 1,000 lb on heavy carts
- Cushioned non-marking steering wheel rolling over seams under towing
- Maneuverable 5-inch elastomer wheel for -40 to 230°F service
