Set this 8-inch ergonomic polyurethane rigid on a fixed corner of the heaviest cart that operators move long distances all shift.

At 8 inches, the largest in this line, the wheel rolls over seams and floor obstacles with the least push effort on a long run, which is the heart of the 18 series: the least operator strain over distance. The non-marking maroon polyurethane tread on a lightweight aluminum hub rolls quietly with low resistance, so even the heaviest loaded cart starts and moves easily. As a rigid caster it tracks straight on the fixed corners, and the zinc-plated frame resists corrosion. It runs on a precision ball bearing, bolts on a 4 by 4-1/2-inch top plate at a 9-1/2-inch mount height, and holds from -40 to 180°F.
