About This Caster - 310NX06528R

Set this 6-inch nylon rigid on a fixed corner of a heavy-duty cart that runs hot or caustic areas where iron is overkill but rubber would soften.

The black nylon wheel carries heavy loads and holds up to 220°F and harsh chemicals, a step below the iron wheel in capacity and heat but easier-rolling and lighter. The trade is that a hard wheel gives no cushioning and can be hard on a soft floor, so it suits sealed concrete. It is built on the American-made 310 frame of heat-treated laser-cut steel with fully welded legs and no kingpin to fail, with a wide 3-inch tread. As a rigid caster it tracks straight on the fixed corners, rides on a precision ball bearing, and bolts on a 6-1/4 by 4-1/2-inch top plate.
