About This Caster - 62AX06228R
Set this 6-inch 62 Series rigid on the back corners of a heavy non-marking cart that crosses thresholds, the polyurethane-on-aluminum caster whose maroon tread carries the load on a die-cast core that bridges the seam without cupping.
A plastic-core poly wheel flexes under a heavy load and a hard wheel scuffs the floor; the 62 Series AX wheel molds the polyurethane to an aluminum core that holds its shape under a high industrial load and stays non-marking, while the 6-inch diameter bridges a thicker threshold. The round crowned tread cuts rolling resistance, the precision ball bearing carries the weight cool, and the 6-1/4 by 4-1/2 top plate bolts to a flat deck. Industrial-duty.
