About This Caster - 62AX06228S
Choose this 6-inch 62 Series swivel for the front of a heavy non-marking cart that turns often, the polyurethane-on-aluminum caster whose round crowned tread pivots easily where a flat tread scrubs and a plastic-core wheel cups under load.
The round tread rides on a narrow center contact, so a heavy cart breaks into a turn with far less effort than a flat tread fights, and the aluminum core holds the polyurethane's shape under a high industrial load while staying non-marking. The precision ball bearing carries the weight cool through the pivot, the 6-inch diameter clears a thicker threshold, and the 6-1/4 by 4-1/2 top plate bolts to a flat deck. Industrial-duty.
