Rubber gives by 180°F and phenolic chars past 250°F; the 62 Series cast iron wheel carries the highest industrial load through radiant heat to 800°F, and the wide 2-1/2-inch tread spreads that weight across more iron so a heavy hot cart does not dig the floor.
