About This Caster - 62CA06201R
Set this 6-inch 62 Series rigid on the back corners of a forge-floor cart, the cast iron caster whose wheel rolls through heat to 800°F while the tall diameter bridges the scale and slag that stop a smaller wheel.
Rubber gives by 180°F and phenolic chars past 250°F; the 62 Series cast iron wheel carries the highest industrial load and rolls through radiant heat to 800°F, and the 6-inch diameter clears the scale and slag of a forge floor. The roller bearing carries the dead weight at a walk, the rigid fork holds the line, and the 6-1/4 by 4-1/2 top plate bolts to a flat deck. Industrial-duty.
