About This Caster - 62NG05201S
Put this 5-inch 62 Series swivel on the front of a chemical-line cart that has to steer between tanks, the Maxim nylon caster whose inert wheel takes the caustic and heat that destroy a softer tread.
The Maxim nylon wheel is inert: it shrugs off the wash chemicals and hot rinse that swell a rubber tread, and it stays hard to 250°F. On this swivel the wheel turns easy on a smooth floor because the hard tread has almost no rolling drag, the roller bearing carries the load, and the 6-1/4 by 4-1/2 top plate spreads it across a flat deck. The cost is a stiff, loud ride, so keep it off delicate finish.

- Steer end of chemical-line carts between tanks to 250°F
- Smooth floors where an inert wheel turns with little effort
- Caustic wash areas that destroy a softer tread
