Set this 8-inch 62 Series rigid under a heavy oven-line cart that crosses floor joints in the heat, the Maxim nylon caster whose tall hard wheel bridges debris and shrugs off temperature to 250°F.
Glass-filled nylon holds its diameter against the solvent and hot wash that swell rubber and soften poly, and it rolls inert to 250°F. The tall 8-inch wheel bridges floor joints and debris a smaller wheel hangs on, the hard tread keeps drag low, and the roller bearing carries the load at a walk on the 6-1/4 by 4-1/2 plate. The ride is stiff and loud over seams.
