About This Caster - 62NG06201R
Set this 6-inch 62 Series rigid under an autoclave or parts-wash cart that lives in heat and solvent, the Maxim nylon caster whose hard wheel holds its diameter where rubber swells and poly goes soft.
A glass-filled nylon wheel will not soak up solvent, caustic, or water, so it holds its diameter where a rubber tread swells and a poly tread softens, and it takes heat to 250°F. The 6-inch wheel clears small debris on the floor, the hard tread keeps rolling drag low, and the roller bearing moves the load at a walk on the 6-1/4 by 4-1/2 plate. It rides stiff and rings loud on seams.
