About This Wheel - G 100/15K

Choose this 100mm Blickle G cast iron wheel when a heavy load rolls at normal temperatures and you want the lightest push effort.

The wheel is rugged grey cast iron with a machined tread, mounted on a ball bearing rather than a plain bushing. The ball bearing is the key difference from the plain-bore version of this size: it starts and rolls with noticeably less effort, which suits heavy carts that move frequently across a shop floor. In exchange, its sealed bearing limits it to ambient temperatures rather than the extreme heat of the plain-bore versions. Cast iron gives extremely low rolling resistance and outstanding wear resistance, but it is hard with no cushioning, runs noisy, can mark, and belongs on bare concrete or steel. It holds from -4 to 248°F.
