About This Wheel - G 100/15G

Choose this 100mm Blickle G cast iron wheel when a larger wheel must run through extreme heat or cold on a re-greasable bushing.

The wheel is rugged grey cast iron with a machined tread, mounted on a plain bore that rides a greased bushing fed by a grease nipple. Because there is no sealed bearing to fail, it tolerates extreme temperatures from deep cold to furnace heat, which fits oven and kiln lines, foundries, and freezer rooms. At 100mm it rolls more easily over thresholds and floor seams than the 80mm size while keeping the same extreme-temperature capability. Cast iron gives extremely low rolling resistance and outstanding wear resistance, but it is hard with no cushioning, runs noisy, can mark, and belongs on bare concrete or steel. It holds from -148 to 1112°F.
