About This Wheel - GTH 251/25K
Choose this 250mm Blickle GTH wheel with a slim 50mm tread when a tall wheel must fit a narrower axle space without giving up diameter.
The wheel pairs a firm Blickle Extrathane cast polyurethane tread with a rugged grey cast iron centre. At 250mm it gives the smooth rolling and obstacle clearance of a large wheel, but its narrower 50mm face is the slimmest in the 250mm group, fitting tighter forks and axle spacing. The firm tread keeps rolling resistance low and resists abrasion, the iron core carries heavy load without flexing, and the polyurethane is easier on the floor than bare metal. It turns on a ball bearing and holds from -4 to 158°F.
