About This Wheel - GTH 252/25K
Choose this 250mm wide-tread Blickle GTH wheel when very heavy loads need both a large diameter and a broad contact band.
The wheel pairs a firm Blickle Extrathane cast polyurethane tread with a rugged grey cast iron centre. At 250mm with a wide 80mm face it combines large-diameter smooth rolling with a broad contact patch that spreads heavy loads and lowers floor pressure. The firm tread keeps rolling resistance low and resists abrasion, the iron core carries the load without flexing, and the polyurethane is easier on the floor than bare metal. It runs on a ball bearing in this version and holds from -4 to 158°F. A companion version with a larger bore is offered for heavier axles.
