About This Caster - LPA-TPA 50G-FI
Order this 50mm swivel when a small, seldom-moved cart still has to be locked dead-still once it is parked, and a ball bearing is more than the duty warrants.
The lock is the Blickle stop-fix system: one pedal action stops the wheel and the swivel head together, so a parked cart cannot roll or pivot, which a wheel-only brake cannot guarantee. The tread is a thermoplastic rubber on a polypropylene centre, grey and non-marking, quiet from -4 to 140°F, and the plain bore bearing keeps the cost down for occasional service. A low 71mm overall height keeps the deck close to the floor.
Ideal applications
- Small seldom-moved carts that must park locked, sealed floor
- Budget builds needing a total lock but not a ball bearing
- Compact frames held still at a bench or against a wall
When the cart is moved often, the ball-bearing LPA-TPA 50KF-FI rolls lighter between locks.
Pairs with: plain LPA-TPA 50G swivels on the rolling corners, these locked ones opposite.
