About This Caster - LPA-TPA 50KF-FI
Set this 50mm swivel on a compact cart that has to roll light all shift and then lock dead-still when it is parked.
It pairs the two features that matter on a busy small cart: a ball bearing that keeps the wheel and swivel turning with little effort, and the Blickle stop-fix lock that stops the wheel and the swivel head together in one pedal action so nothing creeps or pivots once parked. The tread is a thermoplastic rubber on a polypropylene centre, grey and non-marking, rated from -4 to 140°F, with a synthetic thread guard over the axle. A low 71mm overall height keeps the deck close to the floor.
Ideal applications
- Busy compact carts that roll often and must park locked
- Bedside and bench rigs held still on a vinyl-over-concrete floor
- Carpeted areas where the thread guard keeps the bearing clean
If the cart only ever rolls, the plain LPA-TPA 50KF skips the lock; for occasional duty a plain-bore version costs less.
