About This Wheel - PATH 100/10KF-ELS
Specify this 100mm conductive wheel for an electronics line, server room, or cleanroom cart on a 10mm axle where a static spark can ruin a board.
The ELS grade is the reason to buy it: the polyurethane and the wheel are made electrically conductive so a static charge built up by rolling drains through the wheel to a grounded floor instead of arcing into a sensitive component. It still rides on a 10mm precision ball bearing for a light push and a synthetic thread guard to keep the race clean. The tread is Blickle's thermoplastic polyurethane at 94 Shore A on a nylon 6 centre, non-marking grey from -4 to 158°F.
Ideal applications
- 100mm ESD carts on a 10mm axle near sensitive electronics
- Conductive grade draining static to a grounded floor
- Cleanroom and server-room racks needing non-marking control
For a standard non-conductive version of this 10mm wheel, the PATH 100/10KF costs less.
