About This Wheel - PO 100/12XR
Choose this 100mm nylon wheel on a 12mm axle for a high-load route that slams the wheel hard and a dusty bay that would foul an open bearing.
A roller bearing carries more weight and shrugs off curb and pallet shock better than a ball bearing, and the X prefix marks the sealed variant that keeps grit off the rollers, so it holds up where dust would foul an open bearing. The wheel is hard nylon 6 at 70 Shore D, carrying a high load and rolling well on a smooth floor, ignoring water and chemicals. The trade is a hard, noisy ride that can damage a soft floor. This colder-rated grade holds down to -13°F up to 176°F.
Ideal applications
- 100mm carts on a 12mm axle taking shock in dusty bays
- Sealed roller bearing keeping grit off the 12mm race
- Chemical-proof 100mm nylon, sealed roller, rated to -13°F
For the standard open roller where dust is not a concern, the PO 100/12R costs less.
