About This Wheel - PO 100/10KA
Fit this 100mm nylon wheel when the fork takes a 10mm axle and the cart needs high load and an easy push on a hard floor.
A 10mm axle is the common European caster-fork size, so this wheel drops straight into a 10mm fork without a bushing, and the hard nylon 6 at 70 Shore D carries a high load while rolling with very low resistance on a smooth floor. The 10mm ball bearing keeps the push light with a synthetic thread guard. Nylon ignores water and chemicals, the trade being a hard, noisy ride that can damage a soft floor, so it suits smooth concrete or epoxy. It holds from -4 to 176°F.
Ideal applications
- 100mm wheels seating into a 10mm fork with no bushing
- Hard 100mm nylon, 10mm ball bearing, low rolling resistance
- High-load chemical-proof wheel on smooth concrete or epoxy
For a plain bore and a 12mm axle in the same 100mm nylon wheel, the PO 100/12G is the economical option.
