Use this 100mm nylon wheel on a 12mm axle where the load is high, the floor is hard, and a plain bore is the economical pick.
A plain bore rides directly on the 12mm axle with no bearing, the economy choice for a frame repositioned rather than pushed all day, and the wide bore suits a heavier static shaft. The wheel is hard nylon 6 at 70 Shore D, carrying a high load and rolling with low resistance on a smooth floor, ignoring water and chemicals. The trade is a hard, noisy ride that can damage a soft floor, so it suits smooth concrete. This colder-rated grade holds down to -13°F up to 176°F.
Ideal applications
- 100mm frames on a 12mm axle moved occasionally, hard floors
- Plain 12mm bore economy with a high-load nylon wheel
- Chemical-proof 100mm nylon, 12mm plain, rated to -13°F
For a ball bearing and lighter daily push, the 10mm PO 100/10KA rolls easier.
