About This Wheel - PO 100/15G
Choose this 100mm nylon wheel when a fixture runs a thick 15mm shaft and the load is high enough that a thin axle would be the weak point.
The 15mm bore is large for a 100mm wheel, letting it sit on a thick, stiff axle that carries the higher load, while the hard nylon 6 at 70 Shore D still rolls with low resistance on a smooth floor. A plain bore rides direct on the shaft with no bearing, the economy choice for a frame moved now and then. Nylon ignores water and chemicals, the trade being a hard ride that can damage a soft floor. This colder-rated grade holds down to -13°F up to 176°F.
Ideal applications
- 100mm fixtures running a thick 15mm load-bearing shaft
- Large plain bore matching a heavy axle to a hard nylon wheel
- Chemical-proof nylon rated to -13°F where a thin axle would fail
