About This Wheel - PO 100/15G-ELS
Specify this 100mm conductive nylon wheel for a heavy ESD or electronics cart on a 15mm axle where a static charge would be a problem.
The ELS grade makes the nylon electrically conductive, so a static charge built up rolling drains through the wheel to a grounded floor instead of arcing into a sensitive load, and it does that while the hard nylon 6 at 70 Shore D still carries a high load on a thick 15mm shaft. The plain bore rides direct on the axle. The grey wheel is non-marking on a smooth floor, the trade being a hard ride with no cushion. This colder-rated grade holds down to -13°F up to 176°F.
Ideal applications
- 100mm ESD carts on a 15mm axle near sensitive electronics
- Conductive nylon draining a rolling charge to a grounded floor
- High-load grey wheel on a thick shaft in a controlled area
For a standard non-conductive version of this 15mm wheel, the PO 100/15G costs less.
Pairs with: a grounded conductive fork and a 15mm axle in an ESD-controlled area.
