About This Wheel - PO 100/8KA
Choose this 100mm nylon wheel for a high load on a smooth hard floor where an easy push matters more than cushioning.
The wheel is high-quality nylon 6 at 70 Shore D, a hard, impact-resistant material that carries a high load for its size and rolls with very low resistance on a smooth floor, so a loaded cart moves with little effort. Nylon also ignores water and chemicals that would attack a softer wheel. The 8mm ball bearing keeps the push light and a synthetic thread guard keeps fibre out of the race. The trade is a hard, noisy ride that can mark or damage a soft floor, so it suits smooth concrete or epoxy. It holds from -4 to 176°F.
Ideal applications
- 100mm high-load carts on a 8mm axle, smooth hard floors
- Hard nylon rolling with very low resistance, ball bearing
- Chemical-proof wheel where cushioning is not needed
