About This Wheel - POTH 100/15K
Use this 100mm wheel on a cart that is moved often and rides a 15mm axle, where a ball bearing keeps the loaded wheel turning lightly.
The ball bearing cuts the effort on a wheel that turns many times per trip, so a loaded cart rolls and steers light where a plain bore would drag. The tread is Blickle's thermoplastic polyurethane at 94 Shore A on a nylon 6 centre, firm and low in rolling resistance, non-marking grey and holding from -4 to 158°F, and the 100mm diameter clears thresholds. It rides a 15mm axle.
Ideal applications
- 100mm wheels on a 15mm axle moved many times a shift
- Ball-bearing roll that stays light under repeated use
- Firm non-marking poly clearing thresholds with low effort
For occasional duty at lower cost, the plain-bore POTH 100/15G drops the ball bearing.
Pairs with: a 15mm axle and a swivel or rigid fork sized for a 100mm wheel.
