Specify this 50mm wheel when a small cart rides on a 6mm axle and gets moved often enough to want a ball bearing.
The 6mm bore is the fit detail here: it matches a smaller axle than the 8mm versions, so confirm the spindle before ordering. The ball bearing keeps a small wheel rolling lightly through repeated moves where a plain bore would drag, and the solid rubber tyre at 80 Shore A on a nylon 6 centre runs quiet and leaves no marks from -4 to 140°F. Blickle keeps the 18mm tread compact for a low, tidy frame.
Ideal applications
- Small carts built on a 6mm axle, moved many times a shift
- Compact frames wanting a ball-bearing roll in 50mm
- Mark-sensitive finished floors, low-noise running
If the axle is 8mm and the cart moves seldom, the plain-bore VPA 50/8G is the simpler, cheaper fit.
