Fit this 50mm wheel under a small appliance, instrument, or apparatus cart that needs a quiet, mark-free roll in the least possible diameter.
The solid rubber tyre at 80 Shore A on a nylon 6 centre cushions the small jolts of a floor seam rather than passing them into a delicate load, and the grey tread leaves no marks on a finished floor. At 50mm with an 18mm face it keeps the frame low and compact, and it takes an 8mm axle on a plain bore bearing suited to light, occasional duty. It holds from -4 to 140°F. Blickle grinds the tyre for low-noise running.
Ideal applications
- Small appliance and instrument carts on an 8mm axle
- Compact low frames where 50mm keeps the deck close
- Light occasional moves over mark-sensitive floors
For a smoother roll on a 6mm axle, the ball-bearing VPA 50/6K spins up easier.
