The 1/2-13 stem threads into a half-inch tapped boss and locks with a jam nut, the one-inch thread seats fully in a standard mount, the ball bearing carries a heavier load and rolls it with less push than a Delrin bore, and the Performa rubber tread cushions the load and leaves no mark.
