The threaded stem screws into a tapped half-inch boss and locks with a jam nut, so it mounts where there is no flat face for a plate, the one-inch thread length seats fully in a standard boss, the Performa rubber tread cushions the load and leaves no mark, and the Delrin bearing rolls dry with nothing to grease.
