About This Caster - 2.05208.53
Bolt this 5-inch polyolefin rigid caster with the Delrin bearing and top plate to a wash-down cart that lives around water, the tall Black polyolefin wheel that will not swell or rot and the fixed yoke that tracks the cart straight.
Polyolefin shrugs off water, mild chemicals, and washdown where a rubber tread would break down, so this wheel suits a cart that gets hosed off, the Delrin bearing has no grease to wash out and resists corrosion, the tall 5-inch wheel clears the biggest thresholds, and the rigid yoke holds the line straight. It is an economical hard wheel, so it rolls easy but cushions less than rubber. Confirm your plate pattern matches the 3-5/8 by 2-11/16 inch plate before you order. It is the tall wash-friendly polyolefin rigid for the back corners of a wet-area cart.
