About This Caster - 2.05256.53
Bolt this 5-inch polyolefin swivel with the Delrin bearing and top plate to a wash-down cart that lives around water, the tall Black polyolefin wheel that will not swell or rot and the plate that bolts solid to a flat frame.
Polyolefin shrugs off water, mild chemicals, and washdown where a rubber tread would break down, so this wheel suits a cart that gets hosed off, the Delrin bearing has no grease to wash out and resists corrosion, the plate bolts to a flat frame, and the tall 5-inch wheel clears the biggest thresholds. It is an economical hard wheel, so it rolls easy but cushions less than rubber. Confirm your bolt pattern matches the 3-5/8 by 2-1/2 inch plate before you order. It is the tall wash-friendly polyolefin swivel for the leading corners of a wet-area cart.
