Specify this 5-inch conductive round-tread Performa rubber swivel with the ball bearing and top plate where a flat-framed cart must both start easy and shed static, the carbon-loaded crowned tread that drains charge to ground and the narrow contact that breaks away with less push.
The conductive compound gives static a path from the load through the caster to a grounded floor, the crowned round tread keeps the contact patch small so the cart swivels with less effort, the ball bearing rolls the load easy, and the plate bolts to a flat frame. The tall 5-inch wheel clears the biggest thresholds. A conductive caster needs a conductive, grounded floor to work, so confirm your floor before you order. It is the tall static-draining round-tread rubber swivel for a flat-framed cart that turns and must shed charge.
