The pedestal precision ball bearing keeps it rolling smoothly on faster, frequent trips and tow lines, and the stainless steel frame handles corrosive, sprayed-down bays. Glass-filled nylon is a hard wheel with no cushioning, so it passes floor shock straight through and can scratch a soft finished floor. This is the caster for strength and chemical resistance on a hard surface, not for a quiet or soft ride. It serves from -20 to 180°F.
