Pick this 4-inch Defender D4 rigid when a damp cart wants a strong chemical-resistant wheel and a bearing that needs no service.
The Delrin plain bearing runs grease-free, resists the corrosion that water and cleaning chemicals cause, and stays quiet under the lighter loads it is meant for. It carries a glass-filled nylon wheel, nylon stiffened with glass fiber so it stands up to heavier point loads and shrugs off chemicals and moisture without swelling. The stainless steel frame suits wet, sprayed-down bays, and the rigid mount tracks straight at the rear of the cart. Glass-filled nylon is hard and unforgiving, giving no cushioning and able to scuff a soft floor, so it pairs strength with low maintenance rather than a smooth ride. It serves from -20 to 180°F.
