About This Caster - D4.08108.831 SS
Pick this 8-inch Defender D4 rigid when a wash-down cart has to ride over the roughest floors with the least effort and the load is modest.
At 8 inches this is the tallest wheel in the line, bridging the widest cracks and clearing the biggest obstacles so the operator pushes with far less effort than a smaller wheel. The polyolefin tread is an economical hard plastic that resists chemicals and moisture without absorbing water, and the Delrin plain bearing runs grease-free and corrosion-proof for sprayed-down bays. The stainless steel frame handles corrosion. Polyolefin is a value tread that carries less than a poly-on-core wheel and, being hard, can mark a soft floor. Rigid means it tracks straight at the rear. It serves from -45 to 180°F.
