Pick this 6-inch Defender D4 rigid when a budget cart needs to clear thresholds and stay corrosion-proof with modest loads.
The taller 6-inch polyolefin wheel rolls over door tracks and joints more easily than a smaller one, and the economical hard plastic resists chemicals and moisture without absorbing water. The Delrin plain bearing runs grease-free and corrosion-proof for sprayed-down rooms, on a stainless steel frame for corrosive bays. Polyolefin is a value tread that carries less than a poly-on-core wheel and, being hard, gives no cushioning and can scuff a soft floor. Rigid means it tracks straight at the rear. It serves from -45 to 180°F, the budget-minded, low-upkeep choice for clean, lighter-duty carts that need easy clearance.
