About This Caster - D4.04109.5PN SS
Choose this 4-inch Defender D4 swivel when a cart that takes knocks and drops still has to steer cleanly.
The swivel head guides the cart around equipment and into tight aisles, with a 3.375-inch swivel radius to allow, and the Commander HD high-impact polymer wheel absorbs shock and impact without chipping or shattering the way phenolic or glass-filled nylon can when a loaded cart hits a dock plate. It takes heat and chemicals to 250°F, on a stainless steel frame for corrosive bays, and the precision ball bearing keeps both wheel and swivel turning smoothly. It is a hard wheel that can mark a soft floor, so it favors impact toughness over a soft ride. It serves from -45 to 250°F.
