About This Caster - D4.04109.921 SS
Pick this 4-inch Defender D4 swivel when a wash-down cart needs to steer, protect the floor, and carry more than rubber, grease-free.
The swivel head guides the cart through tight, sanitary spaces, with a 3.375-inch swivel radius to allow, and the HI-TECH polyurethane wheel is a non-marking tread that takes more load than soft rubber, resists abrasion, and will not flat-spot when parked, staying gentle on finished floors. The Delrin plain bearing runs grease-free and corrosion-proof for sprayed-down rooms, on a stainless steel frame for corrosion. Compared with a hard plastic wheel it gives a little under load and rolls with less effort. This is the floor-friendly, low-upkeep steering caster. It serves from -45 to 180°F.
