Choose this 5-inch Defender D4 rigid when a cart takes knocks and drops on rough floors and a brittle hard wheel would crack.
The Commander HD high-impact polymer wheel absorbs shock and impact without chipping or shattering the way phenolic or glass-filled nylon can when a loaded cart hits a dock plate or curb, and it handles heat and chemicals to 250°F. At 5 inches it clears thresholds and obstacles more easily than a smaller wheel, and the pedestal precision ball bearing keeps it rolling smoothly on faster, frequent trips and tow lines. The stainless steel frame handles corrosive bays. It is a hard wheel that can mark a soft floor, so it favors impact toughness over a soft ride. Rigid means it tracks straight at the rear. It serves from -45 to 250°F.
